Pilates

Hot Pilates Tune Up ~ NEW This fresh and innovative class will help you re-align and recharge your body. This class will take place in our heated room allowing your body to move with ease through these amazing mat exercises. The movements are small but the results are huge. These exercises will be designed to improve posture, joint mobility and function with an emphasis on core conditioning. Learning to engage deeper with the breath and to use the proper muscles will be the focus of this class. This class will finish with some deep tissue releases sure to get all the “kinks” out. Are you ready for a tune up?   


Pilates Pure Length
~ NEW Experience length from head to toe with this re-shaping pilates class. Pilates movements will be enhanced with the use of different pieces of pilates equipment including the ring, mini ball, band, light hand weights and more. You will increase your fat burning metabolism, increase energy and feel taller after every class.


Kettle Bell

Kettle Bell ~ The Kettle Bell or "girya" (Russian) is a weight looking somewhat like a cannonball with a handle. the kettlebell's centre of mass is extended beyond the body allowing for a swing type movement. This swing movement engages micro-muscles needed to balance the kettlebell, maximizing the use of your core through every exercise. Spark your inner fire and enjoy!

Strength Fusion ~ Condition your entire body with the fusion of strength, core and balance. A variety of equipment will be introduced each week in this amazing full body strength class. Enjoy!

Complete Conditioning Circuit ~ Give your body the “complete” work out and try some new pieces of equipment in this exciting complete conditioning class. You will experience cardiovascular conditioning, strength, endurance and flexibility exercises in this motivating circuit style workout. This workout will challenge the experienced participant, as well as be appropriate for the new participant as you work each exercise at your own pace. This class does it all!


Indoor Cycling

Indoor Cycling Interval Combo ~ NEW This amazing class will alternate between higher intensity exercises and lower intensity exercises making this a true interval style class. Interval training is one of the best ways to increase your overall fitness level and this variety will help you to see results even quicker. This class will incorporate the use of the cycling bikes and different piece of resistance equipment each week. This is a must try!

Indoor Cycling & Pilates ~ This class will begin with 30 minutes of cycling drills followed by 30 minutes of pilates movements using a variety of equipment. You will love this energizing workout!

Indoor Cycling & Strength Fusion ~ NEW 30 minutes of energizing cycling drills and 30 minutes of strength, core and balance exercises using a variety of different equipment each week.

Indoor Cycling ~ This 30 minute cycling class will rev up your metabolism and help you to develop a strong cardio foundation through proper use of breath. Enjoy a smooth pedal stroke which will be easy on the joints and challenging for the legs and core.


Yoga

Pratapana Yoga ~ The sanskrit word meaning “bringing close to the sacred fire”. Pratapana can be playful and creative and will encourage your body to move freely through poses limbering the body and clearing the mind. This class is intended to awaken your inner fire (prana) by loosening the spine building heat in the major muscle groups, getting synovial fluid in the joints, inspiring breath, awakening the body and bringing awareness to movement.

HOT Yoga Chakra Flow ~ This practice will restore the balance of your body by moving the flow of energy through each of the seven main chakras. You will experience a variety of postures each week as well this class will incorporate invigorating flow series. This is the perfect class for all levels. Yin Yoga
~ Yin yoga is a quiet inward yoga practice that allows you to bring breath and openness to areas of the body that hold tightness. Hips, thighs, pelvis, back and shoulders will be the focus. Yin poses are held longer to encourage deeper awareness as you connect to body and soul. Feel your body lengthen and your tension melt away after each practice.

HOT Hatha Yoga ~ Enjoy a variety of poses with the increased benefits of our hot room. Learn poise, balance and build strength as you improve your physical body and clear your mind. Great for any level of yogi!

HOT Yoga Flow ~ This flow class consists of a sequence of dynamic and static postures that will be practiced weekly. This seamless flow of poses will allow you to feel more length thorough body and breath. All levels welcome!

Vinyasa Yoga ~ This yoga class will consist of a series of postures, one flowing seamlessly into the next, uniting body, mind and breath. Designed as a moving meditation, every vinyasa class is unique, creating the opportunity to become stronger, more flexible and balanced, while practicing being present to the moment.

Hatha Yoga ~ This class will focus on rejuvenation and the release of stress. You will learn postures that teach poise, balance and strength which are practiced to improve the physical body. You will also learn how to connect deeper to the breath in postures allowing you to relax the mind.


Power/Peace Yoga & Meditation ~ NEW Power will include inspiring dynamic postures intended to tone and strengthen the body. Peace will invite the body into deep lengthening postures intended to rebalance, refocus and restore. A portion of this class will be dedicated to the practice of breath and also a variety of meditation techniques. This practice of breath and meditation will enhance your capacity to be healthy, calm, aware and fully present. The perfect balance!

Core Yoga ~ This class will teach you how to engage more effectively through your core. Core muscles or “abdominal wrap” include the front, sides and back of your torso. Specific yoga postures will be introduced to lengthen and strengthen these areas. Enjoy!

Pre/Post Natal GTS and YOGA ~ NEW

The perfect balance for expecting Moms or Moms looking
to get back into exercise gently. The first part of this
45 minute class will be on the GTS pilates machines
and the last portion will be dedicated
to relaxing yoga postures.

GTS Classes (special rates for these sessions)

GTS ~ This machine does it all. More then 600 movements can be preformed on this functional piece of equipment. Look for our many (GTS) Gravity Training System classes marked on the schedule.

GTS Jump Board Pilates II ~ NEW This fun and energetic class will really get your body moving. The pilates platform is used throughout this class and you will increase metabolism, help increase breathing capacity, strengthen joints and tone your muscles. The first part of the class will start with pilates leg work and then transition to core and upper body. This new class will also incorporate use of small equipment for some extra fun! This class is limited to five participants and fills up quickly so please book early!

GTS Functional Strength ~ NEW This class will be limited to five participants to maximize results. Body alignment and breath work will be the focus as you move through each strength exercise. This functional class will take your fitness to the next level and your instructor will keep you motivated every step of the way.

Gentle GTS ~ This class is limited to five participants and will be suitable for anyone new to the GTS, wanting a gentle core and strength building class or has any injuries that may limited range of motion or strength. This class will help you to gently build your strength and range of motion.

Precision Pilates ~ This class will help you to develop a deeper awareness of your body and how it moves. This class is limited to 5 people and the sessions will be completed on the Gravity Training Machine. FEEL a difference in three sessions, NOTICE a difference in five, and TRANSFORM your body in ten.

Note: All equipment is provided. All fitness levels are welcome. Make-up classes are available if you miss your regular class. Please book ahead. All make-up classes must be completed within the same session.
