Our Mission

Our goal at Mindful Movements is to provide our clients with innovative, motivating and personalized classes and sessions. We create a calming yet stimulating atmosphere so our clients can relax, de-stress and get the most from their exercise.
Mindful Movements is “your destination to wellness”. We look forward to helping you be happier and healthier.

Our Name

Our name represents what we teach, who we are and how we move through life. It is a constant reminder to us to be mindful. Being mindful of our wellness as it relates to our body, mind and soul is key to our health.
In life, we need to move to maintain optimum health. Our bodies are created for movement. And when called upon to carry us forward in life can be incredibly strong as well as flexible if we care for ours well.
We at Mindful Movements encourage you to treat your body well. By choosing to engage in thoughtful exercise we know the benefits you will receive. We know you will be able to move more freely, be stronger and much more flexible.

Our Logo

The hummingbird in our logo represents movement, flexibility and speed. Its little body is like a finely tuned engine operating at peak performance. Its wings are delicate but strong and move in a figure eight that is associated with the symbol of infinity. It represents an endless supply of energy and intuitively knows in order to be active and strong it must nourish itself on a regular basis. Hummingbirds are known to rise to a challenge if necessary. We need to be strong when challenges emerge in our life as well. We, like the hummingbird would be wise to remember how to have fun and play.

Our Slogan

We are “Your Destination to Wellness”. That’s it, plain and simple. We have what you need to start or continue your journey on the road to health and wellness. Our personal trainers guide you to be the “best you” that you can be. Mindful Movements’ therapists work with you to attain optimum health. And, we even offer Canadian made Dedicated Clothing that will make you look and feel great!

Feel and see the difference with the help from one of Mindful Movements' Personal Trainers. If you are a beginner or experienced exerciser our personal trainers can help you make life changes. We provide a motivating and private setting so you will always feel comfortable in your session. Individual and semi private sessions are available with a Personal Trainer from Monday to Saturday. One of our certified Personal Trainers will assess and suggest the best plan to help you with your health and wellness goals.

Studio Etiquette
Please arrive at least five minutes before the start of your class.
The door will be locked at the start of class.
Please refrain from wearing heavy perfumes to class.
Keep personal items to an absolute minimum in class.
Please enter the yoga room quietly.


Small Group Classes


Our classes are small so that you feel motivated and engaged throughout each exercise. You will receive the most effective attention from our instructors so you will see results. We will help you choose the classes that will best suit your goals and individual needs. We offer a complimentary class to ensure that you enjoy your session before you sign up. You can join classes at any point during a session and we have four sessions per year.

We also offer work place classes and workshops. If you have friends or family and would like to start your group please give us a call 613-968-1166 or email us to set up a time for your group.
